  16. A long time ago, I was considering running Kermit on a couple
  17. of PCjr computers that I planned to connect to some monitors
  18. around the house.  I thought that the IR keyboards would make
  19. them great for reading mail and news from the couch/bed/
  20. dinner table/...  ('cause I'm a NERD!)

  22. But...I checked on the memory requirements and found that a
  23. lowly 64K PCjr is not sufficient for Kermit.
  24.  
  25. So...any advice?  I don't think I have a DOS compiler around
  26. anymore, but I was hoping that I might be able to hack off
  27. parts of Kermit that I don't need.  All I want is the VT-100
  28. emulation.  (Yes, I realize I *could* use a simple VT-100
  29. emulator, but I use Kermit all the time on my main PC.)
